It’s winter time, which means big swells on the Pacific coast. I took these photos last week from my phone. I was looking down at the Capitola Pier and watched this set roll through. Some fishermen on the pier definitely got wet! The water is freezing this time of year in SC and the surfers who go out are hard core. It’s so cold that when you walk across the sand in the morning, it crunches like thin ice beneath your feet. Can you imagine running across that and jumping into 50 degree freezing ocean? You can get an ‘ice cream headache’ when you duck-dive. I remember surfing Pleasure Point when I was in high school (before keyless remotes to unlock your car door) and my hands and fingers would be so cold when I got out from surfing, I couldn’t bend them to use my key and unlock my door. I’d have to ask somebody who was dry to help me or wait until they thawed out.

I think I’ll go snowboarding until it warms up a bit;)

Here are a few photos from my fitting before the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The Diamond Fantasy bra was incredible to wear down the runway! I opened the finale segment with the second outfit. It was inspired by my fragrance with Victoria’s Secret called Love Rocks. It was the first time ever that an outfit was created for the show from a fragrance campaign. You can see in a few of the photos that it started out with white faux fur around the top of the coat and then we changed it to black and added my wings later. The wings I wore were only finished an hour before show time!

The show was amazing and I hope you watch it on December 1st on CBS!

This photo was taken during the Victoria’s Secret Holiday commercial. Michael Bay directed the commercials and it was an incredible experience shooting with him. In this photo, I was setting up to do my shot on the pool table. I’m obviously cheating by climbing up on the table
If you try this at home – wear knee pads. My knees were pretty scrapped up after this shot.

This photo is from the Van Nuys airport. Michael wanted to do a shot where I was roasting hotdogs until they were black and on fire. It was fun working with the pyro team and they made sure the hotdogs were flaming. I had to be careful since I didn’t have protection of any kind, only wearing bra and undies.

I did another shot where I throw knives. Michael taught me how to toss the knife and flip it over and over in one hand. I had to be careful to catch the handle and not the blade when I was flipping it in my hand. The knife was really heavy and big and I thought there was no way I would be able to pull that off, but somehow I did. Then I had to do it without looking at my hand and look straight into the camera! At the end of the day, I had beat up knees and a huge bruise on my hand from the weight of the knife hitting my hand over and over. I love my job…..
