I just went for a ride with my dad, uncle and cousin. The roads in Nor Cal are incredible. You can ride through country farmland and then check the surf, all within 30 minutes. It’s pretty funny riding along farm roads and having different smells circulate in your helmet. I try and guess what is planted there. Today, there was a lot of strawberry in the air!
Here’s a photo my dad took of me on a break. I swear it’s me
Much love,

You had a great day to ride.
What are some of your favorite rides here in Nor Cal? I’ve rode down the coast on Hwy 1 from SF to Santa Cruz a few times, including last Sunday after the Haight Street Fair, and have been looking for other good rides in the area. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Jason
Yes, it was so gorgeous yesterday. It’s so nice to ride and not get cold. It gets pretty brutal during the winter months.
One of the most beautiful places on earth is Big Sur. It’s a great ride, just better to go on a day that isn’t windy as that’s no fun on the cliff roads.

Ha ha, I know what you mean about finally being able to ride and not get cold. I was working in San Francisco this winter and riding to work everyday. The cold days weren’t as bad as the rainy days. I was riding across Spain and Portugal last month and it was so nice. I’m glad we finally got some nice riding weather here in the bay area.
Cool, I’ll definitely have to head down through Monterey and check it out one of these weekends.
Thanks,
Jason
There are some great roads in the SC/Peninsula area:Tunitas Creek, Boony Doon, 84, Skyline (35), Hwy 9, Page Mill Road, and 92 from 1 to 280 (if there are not many cars). South of SC Hwy 152 is alot of fun.
I’m lucky to have a non-traditional job where I can ride M-F when I am off the ship.
I’m glad you wear gear, but please add some sort of Draggin’ Jean or overpants to the riding closet.
I’m one of those ATGATT losers (All The Gear All The Time). I’m really looking forward to riding my 1974 airhead when I get home in late July.
Keep the rubber side down.
