Seeing Orange (and not because of Halloween)

Today is game 3 of the World Series and I wanted to give some love to the SF Giants who are killing it so far, winning the series 2-0. It’s been awesome watching them fight their way to the top and they seem to be getting better and better with each game.

My friends in Santa Cruz sent a photo of pumpkins they carved last night and I thought it was hilarious! You can see the fear in the Texas pumpkin- FEAR THE BEARD!!!!

I’ll be doing a post next week about my time here in London. I just got back from the 49ers pep rally in Trafalgar Square…..and hanging with Jerry Rice! This was a bucket list moment for me;) He is so cool and one of the reasons I fell in love with football and the 49ers.

Even though the 49ers don’t have the best record right now, I still have unconditional love for them. What kind of fan would I be if I didn’t support them through it all?

Much love,
XoxoMarisa

Night of Too Many Stars

Tonight I am honored to be participating in the Night of Too Many Stars an Overbooked Concert for Autism Education. The telethon features many talented guests from host Jon Stewart, George Clooney, Tom Hanks, Conan O’Brien to Steve Carell, Tina Fey and Betty White – just to name a few;)

Autism is a neurological disorder that affects 1.5 million people in America. Since 2005, the event has raised close to $7 million dollars to help benefit a variety of autism education and family service programs across the country, in support of those in desperate need quality services. This year, funds raised will continue to support these programs as well as the new Institute for Brain Development, an all-inclusive diagnosis and treatment center for Autism research into causes and treatment!

Tune into Comedy Central tonight at 9pm ET / 6pm PT for the LIVE 2 1/2 hour event to make a donation and watch live performances and sketches. Your donation means a lot to me!

xoxoMarisa

PS when you call in, let me know how the Giants are doing;) GO GIANTS!

Giants & 49ers

Hope everybody had a great weekend!

I watched baseball and football all weekend and was stoked to see San Francisco holding it down!

It was awesome to see the 49ers win. The first half wasn’t pretty and I know it’s got to be hard to stay motivated and when you’re frustrated with numerous turnovers, flags and bad calls. It seemed like the ball was going backwards more than forward in the first half and it was almost comical hearing the announcers say “2nd and a bunch” and “3rd and forever” (It was 30 yards for a 1st down).

It’s the determination and tenacity I love watching and seeing them stay with it. It definitely paid off. Go 9ers!

The Giants started the series against the Phillies with a win on Saturday. Cody Ross definitely had their number with hitting 2 home runs in the first game! He hit another home run last night-even though they lost. They are playing tomorrow in SF and I can’t wait to see them back on their home field.

Here’s an interview with Cody after Game 1. It’s very cool to see how humble he is and gives it back to his team. The Giants do have some great pitchers;)

Watch Cody’s Interview

Anybody else watch the games this weekend?

Much love,
xoxoMarisa
