Yes, I agree that depending on the product and person doing the spray tan, it can come out good or bad. I think the best and easiest product to use yourself, is the lotions with the gradual self tanner in them. They build over 3-5 days so you can control the color and it easier to correct a mistake. I have started getting spray tans and sometiems it does come out splotchy but it is far better than skin cancer and the hives I used to get from tanning beds. Everyone that receives significant sun exposure either now or in the past should see a dermatologist (preferably board certified)EVERY YEAR and receive a thorough head-to-toe examination. Minimize sun exposure where possible and don't assume invulnerability in the sun because of a purported SPF of a lotion. Enjoy the beach and the ocean but be prudent and protected. It should also be noted that people don't need a tan to be beautiful, I've seen tons of girls who look great with just their natural skin tone. You are the definition of "super model".
