This is the man-his name is Richard Christoph. He designed the Harley Davidson Nightster, which is the bike I ride. I love the old-school look and style of this bike. It’s simple, bare-bones, gritty and has a lot of attitude. I got a chance to meet Rich and the rest of the HD design crew a few months ago on a trip to the Harley Davidson headquarters in Milwaukee. It was absolutely incredible. There are a lot of secrets going on in that building. I’m not allowed to say what goes on in there- but let’s just say I feel really confident about being able to ride my bike hard. So much goes into making these bikes what they are and it makes me appreciate them even more!

Below are pictures of the sketches Rich did of the NIghtster. He signed them and sent them to me and I thought this had to be the coolest piece of art ever! Just got to find a prime spot in the house to display them!

I must say, that is pretty awesome. I have a VTX and I’m always pickin’ on the boys who think their Harley’s are the biggest and badest.. But at the end of the day as long as you’re on two wheels havin’ a good time, that’s what matters! Much love!
Very cool art work and I plan on enjoying some riding on my few days off before I join my new ship (President Adams). I’m sailing off the East Coast through Somali pirate waters to Singapore and back. My old ship (APL China) has to sweat sailing through Korean waters.
See you on the road.
Harley Davidsons themselves are great pieces of art. I can’t wait to own one. I feel so left out when I see somebody riding a bike.
Marisa!!! I love your bike! I love all the matte black. All the details are sweet. I’m looking at a nightster and while doing the tank and fenders is not that pricy. How the heck did you get the engine and all those parts powder coated??? That can’t be cheap. Any info on that would be great…
You’re a doll, much love
