Those are some really cool pictures of Santa Cruz. That's a funny story about your hands being freezing cold. So what are you planning to do now. I would enjoy hearing from you.

"The rays of dawn shine through you, like a million stars..."

Sometimes a door is closed but an even greater window of opportunity is opened. Let your light shine through that window like a million stars.

Wow, some big surf! Here on the East coast, at Hampton Beach (NH) at "The Wall", we had a great Dec. 3rd day this year. Chest-high, 49 F water, but the air temp. was an amazing 70 F (record high). Take the suit off and walk around the beach in a bathing suit afterwards--glorious! Snowboarding in New Hampshire? Who needs it. Catch some waves! Lots of hugs.

That is crazy it gets so cold the sand crunches like thin ice beneath your feet! Of course where I am from 50 degrees is considered warm and people start wearing their flip-flops. Total madness, I know :p

Where do you think you will go snowboarding? Make sure you take a pict of yourself in your gear! :D

That's crazy about how cold it gets there and the ice and sand. Your story reminds me of the summer my brother and I went to Alaska to commercial fish and we ended up making a wakeboard out of plywood. We had one of the other workers pull us behind one of the fishing boats using a stick and rope. It was so cold but priceless seeing their expressions after watching some Texans wakeboard in Alaska on a homemade wakeboard.
