I enjoy the behind the scenes photo. Having a previous ad career I always knew what went on beyond the crop of the lens. Photo one in intriguing for a couple of reasons. I like how the tripod is leveled with the cooler but what I really want to know is the conversation between the two “apparent” farmers in the upper left. They may be with the staff but they are out of the way enough to be the locals. This shoot location probably still makes for good “barn talk.”

how could I forget. that was how I first got to know you, Marisa! I remember it, too. there I was watching TV and a commercial for the SI special comes up. first thing I see–this unbelievably gorgeous woman standing naked on a barn door. jaw dropping to say the least!! don’t suppose you have any more extra pics of this shoot, huh?

you done hundreds of beautiful shoots since, but SI in 2004 is STILL your best ever in my opinion

This was one of my fave ( if not the most fave!) SI photoshoot too – gorgeous light, lovely surroundings and the best model
